We loved the variaty of food that we could choose from. Amazing quality and the portions are huge – can recommend Sallys Picnics to everyone – espacially when visiting Signal Hill for a picnic.

I organized this picnic as a surprise for my husband’s birthday and it was fantastic! The food is really delicious and well prepared/packed. Sally was really flexible (because we were a bit later then promised) and kind and you can really taste that she prepares the food with love. I would definitely recommend this picnic!

Prepare to feel absolutely spoiled. We ordered picnics for our day at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and would do so again in a heartbeat. The food was delicious and while indulgent, overall very healthy and fresh. Portions were generous. Great care was put into all the packaging details and careful placement of each bite of food. There is an increasingly competitive market for picnics here in Cape Town, but this one stands out because it is truly homemade with such pride. If I could give six stars I would. Communication, delivery, price, variety, presentation, and taste were all flawlessly executed. Stand-outs for us were the salads (we ordered one beetroot and one halloumi) as well as the most amazing cupcakes we have maybe ever had. Thank you warmly for making our picnic so special. We recommend Protea Picnics without any reservation.

I was blown away by the quality and quantity of our picnic that we ordered from Protea Picnics. The portions are large and the meals are so tasty. We just loved the chicken satay with the divine peanut sauce. The strawberry cupcakes were so beautifully decorated and their taste did not disappoint. I can highly recommend using Protea Picnics.
